360° Image with movie and sound!
Just saw this on boing boing
It’s a Quicktime VR with a movie and sound embedded!
Very cool. I think that it would be neat if they made video cameras that just recorded looking at a mirror ball. You could just hold it over your head and get a full surround video. You would need a pretty hefty computer to transform the distorted images back into a 360° view, but it would be really fun to be able to look around as if you were there when the video was filmed.
